#29 Fat shaming

The oinking story cut me deep! One time after a fun evening at Universal in Orlando with my fellow fat girl friend on our vacation we had planned for months - we were barked at. Like guttural snarling mastiff woofed at by a “grown man”. We were leaving the park with smiles on our faces and his stupid ass was coming in with his friends down the path at CityWalk. And just BWARFARFWUSKSK sounds at us followed by peals of totally adult man laughter. My friend barked back and I just retreated into myself in embarrassment between their action and her reaction. I just wanted to crawl into a hole and lick my wounds a la their comparison to us being dogs. I’ve also been mooed at in London while eating a sandwich with my smaller friend on a study abroad trip. We were sitting in the floor resting and having our simple supper in a crowded major train station and again, a couple “adult men” mooed at me while she was away. I finished my sandwich through tears, had to choke it down.
